My Background
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, I was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2017 after receiving my Juris Doctor degree from Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. I am also a graduate from the University of Georgia in 2012 with a B.A. in Criminal Justice. During law school, I completed a summer internship for Dekalb County Superior Court Judge, the Honorable Courtney L. Johnson, and a summer internship as a Legal Intern with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Atlanta District Office. I also completed an externship with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the General Counsel, in their Atlanta, GA office.
In addition, and while I was in law school, I was on Law Review, I obtained a Certificate in Advanced Legal Research, Writing, and Drafting, and I competed in the ABA National Criminal Justice Trial Advocacy Team Competition. I also was active in the Atlanta Bar Association Student Section, where I was co-chair of the Litigation Section. And I remain a member of the Atlanta Bar Association today.
My husband and I live in Smyrna where we enjoy community events, watching college football, and spending time with our friends and family.
